I started useing the amex prepaid card, after dealing with greendot. Which by the way they rip people off. I thought that by useing the american express prepaid card it would better. Everyone regionizes the amex logo, and respect it. Recentley I booked a hotelthru a third party vendor ( hot wire ). They are a ripp off too.

I called american express and told them that they charges were unauthorized. which by the way were over 100 dollars. They told me that I had to wait until they heard from the merchant. I told them that I am their CUSTOMER. Not the merchant, how dare they take the merchants side of the customer. This is the third time american express had done this tom me. I am know longer going to use their card.

 Its only a prepaid debit card. They have to wait in order to issue a refund TO THE CORRECT PERSON!! Youre sense of self entitlment is going to cost you more and more the more you toss it out there. AMEX doesnt care if your the CUSTOMER, you have told them that the charges on your card are false. They have to investigate the situation. They CANNOT give you a refund if they havent proven its fraud on the other parties fault. For all they know YOURE THE PERSON ATTEMPTING TO COMMIT FRAUD!!!! Its very common for ppl to make large purchases and then scream that someone else used their card. By performing an investigation they ensure the right ppl are getting the money. Jeez...you post a negative review over the proceedural that HAS to happen.
