American Express Amall business owners beware Dallas Texas

A year ago AMEX solicited our business by offering us a small business Platinum Card. I was upfront with my hesitation that I did not want my personal SSN linked to the small yet incorporated business tax id. I signed the application and left empty my SSN as I did not want to be a cosigner for my company. Lo and behold AMEX figured out my SSN and my personal Platinum Number, which they linked to the business Platinum. A year later the company had trouble making the last two payments, so I closed the business platinum and offered to make a payment arrangement. Instead AMEX asked me (the individual) to transfer the payment to another credit card, or to check if there were any assets I could sell to pay them, meanwhile they put a hold on my personal Platinum. After I did transfer the debt to my personal credit card, they will still use the Business Platinum information on my personal account to deny me credit and put frequent holds on it. I have been embarrased on a number of occassions while trying to use my personal AMEX which had been placed on hold without notification.
