What I'd like to understand is how, if you miss paying by the "please pay by" date, and the actual next billing date a few days later - you are considered "30 days past due". i.e. my statement said please pay by the 26th, my next statement cycled the 2nd. How is paying 7 days after the due date "30 days past due"? And reflected thus on your credit report??? thanks
