American Family Mutual Insurance ,American Family Insurance,AMFAM  - What service? Marietta Georgia

This is not a negative account of the agent but a negative account of American Family Insurance based on my experiences and in my opinion. i had to file a claim. The adjusters either lied about facts and reports with my claim or they were just pushing through the paperwork without actually reviewing. They stated the company does not cover putting the loss to pre-loss condition. After several reviews they still were having to make corrections to their own reports. It seems to me that they were only interested in ensuring the company's bottom line and not the customer. The adjuster's supervisor was extremely rude and confrontational to me from the first contact. If the insurance company employed the attitude of the agent, this would be a great company. I should have read about the MN lawsuits and the Clark Howard reviews before making my insurance decision solely on the excellent agent. In my opinion and from my experience, There are many other Insurance companies that rate much higher on their reviews than AMFAM and that are competively priced. Buyer beware is all I have left to say about this company.
