American Home Makeovers Bought my tub in 2009. Three years later, the power on the tub would not go off and when I called "Selig", the company that installed the tub, they denied installing it. Rancho Cordova, California

My name is Edith  and I am writing this report on behalf of my mother who is now 86 years old with Alzheimer's disease.  I had just returned to live with and care for my mom back in 2009 when I met the tub salesman "David".  I quickly noticed that he was mightly "friendly" with my mom and was always offering to take her to the bank and on errands to pay her bills for her.  I also noticed that he had gone through my mom's personal files and had laid out all of her file folders on the sofa in the living room for easy access.  It took him over 30 days to close the sale of the tub at which time my mom asked him to show her how to use her new tube.  He told her to "take off her clothes" and he would show her how it worked.  A short time after he stopped coming to my mom's house, we were robbed at gunpoint by four black males and wouldhn't you know, the tub salesman showed up at our front door about five minutes after the "robbers" fled the scene.  He said he was just in the neighborhood.  A few months later, I found a  single piece of white bond paper, 8-1/2 by 11 inches, on which the tub salesman had written down all of my mother's personal identification and highlighted in yellow was a notation that she had received a direct deposit of $397,000 a few months back for the sale of her home in Glen Elders.  My mother has been afraid to answer her front door ever since American Home Makeovers came into her life.  Now the tub does not work properly and none of the phone numbers on the sales pamphlet are working numbers.  What's worse, the installation company says they didn't even install the tub and they have no idea who did.
