AMERICAN HOME MORTGAGE INC /OPTION ONE LOAN SERVICING LOSS MITIGATION COMPANY FOR AMHI RAISED MY MONTHLY PAYMENT instead of LOAN MODIFICATION ,MORTGAGE AMHI, ROB BRANDN IRVINE California

Because of the ECONOMY and my career as a Realtor and Mortgage pro its been dificult earning a living. IN addition to that my disability and 8 surgeries over the past 4 years has made a difference in my income. Through out all this I was always able to pay my bills becaue even though I am considerd 100% disabled I actually do not feel that way due to the fact I make my own hours. Last year when I FOUND out my mother passed away and my brother this only added to my depresion. THIS all started in MAY, then around the end of summer I couldnt make my mortgage paymens . I tried and it was a snow ball effect things getting worse with the economy. IN Sept Nov as I tried to get out of this and back on my feet, I CALLED THE HOPE PROGRAM for some help on how to save my home.

THEY took some information and told me to talk to my LENDER . I spoke to ROB BRANDON in the department helping with people in my situation , loss mitigation dept i guess. He took information from me and told me that it woujld be sent to the investor . HE WORKS AT OPTION ONE MORTGAGE and for some reason they do the loan modifcations for AMERICAN HOME MORTGAGE. He told me he would gather information from me and then take it to the investor. ALl the time I was thinking my situation would get better and feeling hopefull again about life in general business and keeping my home after all my losses in the last year.

Being behind in my payments shouild have been a clear picture that I needed them lowered a little right?

Well after a few months of paperwork back and forth , I was feeling much better about life and business and of course this helped my attitude with my business and things were looking good because I was hopeful

Just a few weeks ago ROB BRANDON AT OPTION ONE contacted me and told me that he needed to talk to me. I called in and heard a message that I could also check another number for the status of my Loan modification. I left him a mesage and then also called the other number

ONLY TO FIND that they DIDNT LOWER my mortgage bUT THE RAISED MY MORTGAGE PAYMENT. I was shocked to get this information that my MORTGAGE PAYMENT ACTUALLY went up over $500 from $1029 or so to over $1600 a month not to mention IM still waiting to see what my second mortgage company can do.

I owe $190,000 on my first and $150,000 on my second
MY HOME is worth LESS than what I owe to the first mortgage company.

HE TOLD me that he would mail the loan modification paperwork to me. IT TURNS OUT they didnt, they sent the mail to my address where I have not recieved mail since the day I purchased the home. THEY HAVE ALWAYS sent my mortgage statements to the MAIL BOX at ups store on the corner as all my other creditors do. INSTEAD he insisted on sending to the house and I never got it. I think its possible now that my roomates got this letter and this is why the moved out of th ehouse decreasing my income even more.

After a week or two of talking about how UPS will not deliver to a mail box, I SQUEEZED IT Out of him and he siad its because UPS will not delvier to a po box . WHEN I EXPLAINED TO HIM that MY MAIL BOX IS AT THE UPS STORE and UPS WILL DELVIER TO THEIR OWN STORE he agreed to send my loan modification paperwork to where I can get it . I TOLD HIM I would out of town for medical reasons back in a few days.

AND I would get the papers and look them over and show my attorney and contact him when I GOT THEM

WHEN I GOT HOME I found an "AUCTION COMING SOON " SIGN on my front LAWN

NEVER ONCE DID I GET NOTICE OF DEFAULT OR any letter offering help. My contact there ROB BRANDON seemed to be very helpful and sounded like he really wanted to help. IT WAS WHEN I GOT my notice that he RAISED MY HOUSE PAYMENT and this latest thing with the notice on the lawn I dont know who to trust

ITS FRIDAY NIGHT and I knew it was to late to call him, I did anyways to leave a message on his voice mail to call me monday morning. WHILE listing to all the pre recorded BS on the system I heard a message about OBAMAS bail out and how they have special help avaialable now . I WAS NEVER offered any of these options from him. HE took my deal to the investor but never offered me the help I hear they say they are so happy to give.

I have lost everything important to me and I have no family to go to and IM in fear of losing my home. SO ITS MIDNIGHT now as IM typing this message to share with all that read this.

DO not trust them do not beleive anything you hear from these people, they say you shouldnt hire an attorney or a company that specialzies in LOAN MODIFICATIONS and to deal dierct with the bank. IM IN the mortgage business my self and hear all the time HIRE A PRO to represent you, thinking I KNEW it all I THOUGHT I CANT afford to hire someone to do what I had beleived i could do this myself

BOY was I Wrong, so now I wonder all weekend until I can call them monday to find out what has happened to me. I have no family , no sad story of where will my kids and I go? I have no kids but still this crappy deal they gave me is wrong,. I got papers in the mail a while back that AMERICAN HOME MORTGAGE FILED BK i hope they burn to the ground espiecially after seeing the pages and pages and pages of the same story

IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO? HELP?
