American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc. AHMSI Refund for Property taxes nightmare Irving Texas

My husband and I sold our home in October 08. AHMSI was supposed to send us a refund of $1500 for the second half of our 2008 property taxes that was in our escrow account.

We have never recieved the check. Rohit told me to fax a letter to the customer resolution department asking them to look into why I had not recieved my check. I was finally told that a check had been sent out to us on November 3,08. They finally verified that the check had not been cashed. I talked to Tenzin Woeser 949-790-3600 ext. 41458. He told me to fax in a letter asking them to send another check in lieu of the one that we never recieved. I keep getting put off and I know they have no intention of paying us.

I have put in a complaint to the Federal Trade Commision, the Attorney Generals offices in Texas and Washington, and the Washington State of Financial Institution. Please put in a complaint to the Federal Trade Commision. Check with the real estate licensing in your state and see if AHMSI is regulated by your state. If they are you may be able to put in a complaint there as well. I am hoping that someone sues them in a class action lawsuit because I will be the first in line to sue them.
