American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc Horrificly Rude and Insulting Customer Service Irving Texas

I recieved a Bankruptcy filing notice from American Home Mortgage dated 01/09/08. I have two negative am option arm loans with this company, and twice during 2008 I reached out to this company to have my loans modified.

When I first attempted to contact them in March of 2008, my call was answered by an extremely rude lady that yelled at me and ridiculed me.

She would not let me speak with her supervisor, or anyone else within her office.

I called back and got a woman by the name of Christina and she said a loan modification was possible, but I would have to fax over about 100 pages of documentation. This I did, but to no avail. I have never been late on a payment, so I was ignored.

This company has 2 or 3 times misapplied my mortgage payments entirely to principle, and then they call and harass me to tell me that I never made a mortgage payment for the month.

In August of 2008 I got ahold of a man by the name of Linh Nuygen at 1-877-304-3100 *66019. I explained the bad behavior I had recieved, and wanted to know if a loan modification was still possible. He was very kind, and said they had streamlined their process, so I only needed to fax 25 pages.

Again, to no avail. Linh explained that the only solution was to lock in my negative am payment to a full principle and interest payment. At that time I could not afford it, so I thanked him, and decided to wait until later to review my budget.

Yesterday, 2/26/09 I called Linh, and he was a changed man. He was very rude and insulted me. He told me I was wasting his time and I needed to stop calling him. I just wanted to know if anything had changed that would make me be eligable for a loan modification. I tried to ask him if I could lock in my full payment, and he continued to belittle me, and basically told me I was stupid for taking a neg. am . loan, and that I needed to get my facts straight about AHM going bankrupt.

When I would try to have a discussion with him to draw information from him, he would only continue to insult me and laugh at me. He was extremely unprofessional and I felt that I was discriminated against for having accepted AHM neg am loan. He belittled me, and basically I felt that AHM gave me a broken shovel in which to leverage a boulder they KNEW I never could lift, despite my excellent credit.
