American Home Sheild Home warranty ripoff. Carroll Iowa

I had a blocked drain on my laundry drain. I called AHS they said it would take 3 days to send someone out. I called a local service, paid myself. The problem was not fixed, due to a broken pipe. I called AHS to send some one out. They did. He snaked line again and found it to be broken (mud in line). He said it would need to be replaced and could not do it at that time.

I called AHS to send someone out. They said that the previous plumber they sent had found an unsatisfactory "p trap" and I would need to fix this before they could do anything further.

I called my local service again, at my expense, and they fixed "p trap".

I sent invoice to AHS and they rejected my invoice and refused to send out service.

I threatened to sue, and Henrietta at AHS then agreed to send someone out.

Again they snaked the drain, and found dirt. Plumber contacted Henreitta and she approved payment for him to use a camera on the pipe to find location of break.
He did not have a camera on the truck and said to schedule for next week. This was friday. I called monday AM. The plumber said that Henrietta had called and had withdrawn her approval and they could not send someone out, dispite her telling me and their contractor otherwise.

I called her again, and by threatening legal action, got her to reapprove the previous order. However she told me at that time if the break was outside of the foundation, it would not be covered, and I would have to pay for the camera inspection.

Today the plumber came with the camera. He found the break only 8 feet into the pipe and on the line between my laundry and kitchen sink. He claimed it was in the existing foundation and the kitchen floor would have to be taken up and the pipe replaced. He said approximately $2500.

Henrietta was notified and she said that they would not pay or send out any other plumbers for this.
