American Home Shield - Ahswarranty.com uses shoddy contractors, doesn't answer calls, waste of money Internet

After 10 years with Nations Home Warranty I switched to AHS...what a waste of 40.00 a month. My air-conditioner was 21 years old, needed to be replaced years ago and all they did for 2 summers was send a contractor out who told me I needed to do this and that(and previous a/c people with Nations at least did yearly maintenance when my unit stopped working, as it has done for 10 years since I bought my home). When my unit stopped working several weeks ago(in 100 degree weather) on a Friday, they put in a call to a contractor who was NOT taking calls that weekend...didn't even follow through to see if he was taking care of me...I was without air(with 2 animals who were suffering) all weekend then on Monday when I called to make SURE they were sending someone, I found out the contractor was booked totally and couldn't get to me for several days. I call AGAIN to AHS and demanded someone get to my house THAT day(and I also took a day of vacation to get the ac fixed)..they FINALLY got these 2 idiots out to my house LATE in the day who refused to do anything to get the unit going and just charged their 55.00 service and left. I had to then pay 100.00 to someone else to finally get my unit working...and this person said my unit should have been replaced years ago. Three weeks later on the Friday of Labor Day weekend this year, the unit goes out, and I couldn't even find someone to fix it, on MY dime...I had to go 5 days without air, suffering and then had to pay out of my own pocket for a new unit. I have called to talk to supervisors and even their person at headquarters who handles complaints..hasn't returned my call.
