After paying for the service for a full year, I called to report a plumbing leak on a Saturday. I gave a full description of the problem - water was leaking into my wall from the showerhead. The rep said they would get someone out as soon as possible. As of the following Friday, no one had come out. I called the plumber directly, as suggested by AHS and they told me I would have to wait until they had time. I called AHS back and requested another plumber, I was left on hold for over 15 minutes. I finally hung up and called back to find that another plumber had been called without my knowledge. The next rep talked with me for quite some time, around 10 minutes and finally got the new plumber on the phone only to find they could not come out that day and possibly not the next. She then called a third plumber. They were to come out the next day. I waited several hours after their ETA and then called the plumber - the plumber was in the middle of "an emergency" and promised to come out at 5:30 that afternoon or 7:30 Monday morning. Needless to say at 8:30 Monday, no sign of the plumber. After calling the plumber (again), I was told he had quit over the weekend and they would send another plumber at 11AM. I asked them to call me at work to meet them (I work just 3 miles from home). They called me at 1:30 and said they would be at my house in 30 minutes. I left the office, went home and waited for an hour. I called the plumber, they told me they were on the way. After another 1/2 hour, they finally showed up. Told me I needed teflon tape on the showerhead, collected their $55 and left. The next day, AHS called and left a message that the service was not a covered incident and that they would pay THIS time as the tech didn't know, but they would not in the future.

This is NOT customer service and I strongly recommend a class action suit. Let's get our money back from this shoddy company.

We also had them for a full year when we bought our home and I cannot stress what a horrible company they are. The people they send out half the time do not even know their own job and then ask you personally for money! Needless to say we never renewed with them and that was that.
