American Home Shield Installed non-working furnace Refused to honor to repair or replace Memphis Tennessee

I always paid premiums for 10 plus years thinking I was paying for 'peace of mind'. Well I had peace of mind until I needed a new furnace. The company they sent out installed a non working furnace and after they left I was told they would make it work after I paid an upgrade fee of $775.00. I complained to American Home Shield who told me their records indicated that I had spoke with them (AHS) and that I had agreed to this. Absolutely not true, furthermore when their agent told me there was an upgrade fee I told them I would/could not pay. When I reminded them that their advertisement said they would repair or replace covered systems at no cost to me AHS then changed the wording from upgrade to modification costs. I NEVER agreed to any co-pays. AHS put this in their records to cover themself. The company they sent out wanted the work so they put in a nonfunctioning furnace until they got the extra money.

Why would a company put in a nonworking furnace in Wisconsin- is their greed more important than human life? They are now back pedaling saying the reason they did this is because they want their money and they won't fix it till they get it. Wait a minute if I had truly agreed to the extra charges then shouldn't the furnace have been working? They accepted a job from home shield to get the work knowing that I would not pay so called upgrade charge but made that furnace non working until they could manipulate me into agreeing to pay. But that's not what I pay insurance for. AHS also put in their records that I agreed to a cash out of $600 and some dollars-not true- where can I get a furnace for that amount. And if I agreed to a cash out why did they send someone out to repair?
