I used to be an employee for American Laser Centers at the Corporate headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI. We worked in the call center where we received all client inquiries, complaints, and appointments.

This company treats its clients like a dollar bill and WILL NOT leave you alone until someone signs you up for a plan (many people have had forms forged with their information on it after going to their 'free' consultation).

If you have ever been contacted as an 'online winner' DO NOT believe the representative! EVERYONE who enters into the 'contest' online receives a "$300 coupon good toward the PURCHASE of a laser hair removal or other package". This IS NOT a free service!! You will be charged an obscene amount, which isn't even consistent from clinic to clinic. You will be charged WHATEVER the clinic manager FEELS LIKE charging you (A typical 'package' starts around $1500).

PLEASE, I would NEVER recommend this company to my family members, especially after many clients are scarred or severly burnt by the ever-rotating clinic technicians. Treatments are effective, but leave areas patchy and inconsistent removal. I almost cried on the phone listening to some of the stories of how people are treated. The ONLY reason ALC wants you is for your money. You will not beat them in court.

Client representatives, like clinic managers and other employees are paid based on how much they can sucker everyone. The more people who book a consultation and are forced to buy something, the more money they get! STOP the cycle! Go to a honest company, because it sure isn't ALC... this is a surefire reason why I do not work there anymore. They treat their employees like slaves and take away every right they have, you can't even look away from your desk without being yelled at and told you were kicked off the phones.

Don't enter into the contest- it's a scam... even the ones at the shows- ALC gets 300 'winners' a show... so when we call you, your mom, your aunt, and your sister- get a hint. You didn't win... the president of ALC wins with all his money.
