I went on line and filled out applications for loans for a new or used car and this was January 16,2013 and recieved threatening phone calls from this company from a Indian named Mike ext 121 stated I had until 5:30pm to pay them 500.00 or they were gonna take me to court in California for siber frsud. They scaredme so bad that I payed them. they told me to go to 7-11 and buy a money pac and call the number and the money will be transferred to them. When my mom looked up the company she said not to pay them and she called them and he lied and said he didn't threaten me. She told them she was going to sew them for their action they callled me and said they didnt want to deal with me anymore that they will be sending me a refund check in the mail. I doubt I will see that money again.

Seriously. You gave these thieves money?

Didn't their request that you go to a 7-11 of all places and buy a ( one way ) money pack set off any RED flags, bells or whistles in your head? No legitimate business is going to do business like that. It reeks of scammers. And ask yourself, Do the state Troopers or any other police force have ANYTHING to do with collecting money for a private business? NO! The best thing you could do at this point is throw away your phone. Really. You are now a marked man. Every scammer collection agency now has you identified as a rube. An easy mark. If you have no phone they cant call you and talk you into anything. Good Luck.

Sorry to hear that you are being harassed by these criminals. Contact your local FBI and / or sheriff and report this crime. Whatever you do, DO NOT pay them money or allow them access to your bank account. They have either stolen or bought records from cash advance places and are trying to collect on paid off debts. We are not associated with them at all, but they are illegally using our business name. We are a bankruptcy law firm in Michigan. Place a fraud alert on your credit report. If you did actually apply for a cash advance, they have your personal and banking information.

JUST SAY NO
AUTHOR: Michael - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, January 17, 2013
If at any time a company says they are going to "sue" you be polite but firm that you can no longer speak with them. When you have the court papers served on you then you will turn the matter over to your attorney and proceed from there. Then have no further conversations concerning the matter. If they call, tell them you are still waiting for a copy of the lawsuit. If they say they have changed their mind tell them you will need that in writing. When you have that you can once again speak to them. If they threaten to have you arrested tell them that you are hanging up and calling the DA's office since that is the office that handles criminal complaints and you want to check with them to see if they have been contacted concerning your situation. Plus you want to ask them about your rights concerning companies that make terroristic threats. These companies bully you because you allow it. Stop allowing it. You still need to pay companies monies that are due them but they do not get the right to abuse you in the collection process.
