Simply stated, I asked for a new boat, used motor and trailer package to be priced over the phone. I signed a contract to agree to purchase the package if it was acceptable to me when I came to view and test drive it. I arrived for the test ride, was taken immediatly to sign the original contract and told that they would not sell me a piece of crap. The boat was fine and the trailer was fine but they did not disclose the major damage to the prop and the skag on the motor that has large pieces missing and permanently bent fin. During the test run the representative ran me out of gas with no life preserves or paddles on board. Had to flag down a boat to get to shore. The boat turned heavy to the right and heitated at full throttle. Here is the answer I got. You are too picky. All boats turn right naturally, the hesitation was probably bad gas, and the broken skag is not major and the manufacturers warranty will cover any future troubles. I cancelled this deal and I am still trying to get my deposit of $500 back.
