American Mobility Rentals, New York Failed to refund for undelivered rental of wheelchair due to death of person on same day ordered. Howard Beach New York

In mid-afternoon of May 26, 2016, I ordered a wheelchair rental for my wife for a week while visiting relatives in New York.  Around 5:30 P.m. on the 26th, she suffered a fatal heart attack.  Calling American Mobility back, I informed them of what happened and asked to have the order cancelled and a refund, which was assured would happen, this call was around 6:30 P.M.  As of June 13, 2016, the refund has not happened and the wheelchair was never delivered.  After several telephone calls with assurance a supervisor would call me in reference to this, I have not received the call nor a refund.  This clearly is a case of theft and fraud with failure to deliver the product or return monies paid for services never rendered.  I would advise anyone seeking rentals of medical equipment to find another company that is more honest.
