I worked for Nick for a few months and he was one of the best people I have ever worked for. He never lied to me and always played me on time. I even saw on several occasions where some of his employees had a discrepancy about their weekly paycheck and Nick being a fair guy paid them what they wanted losing money in the process trying to keep everyone happy. When people are on a commission only pay structure and don’t sell anything for the week, then they shouldn’t have made anything for the week. I have witnessed Nick going above and beyond to compensate his employees at his own expense!

Nick is an honest employer and I find it hard to believe that he legitimately ripped off anyone that has worked for him. 

I know its all lies.. they lie soooooo much.. they did the same thing for a company i worked for. They had an ad out looking for people to call on behalf of their other company (www.2gig.com) and also (Alarm Marketing Group 5301 N Federal Highway, Suite 260, Boca Raton FL)... we called thousands of leads did surveys asked questions to the people, and were told we will be paid 1.50 per completed survey.. he said the same thing pmt will be 2nd and 17th for work done the previous month. My boss spoke to his daughter she said he was going to pay he was waiting on a check to come in, apparently that check never came in.. and we never got paid. he stopped answering his phone.. his daughter stopped answering her phone.. they are crooks.. his wife is in it as well.. its sad that a woman would really go along with something like that... then we had a collection agency call him, and then he said the leads were "fraudulent"... HE PROVIDED THE LEADS TO US SO WE CAN CALL.. and just to back up our truthfullness we recorded every single survey, just incase something like that would actually happened, and it did.. funny thing is, my boss has had email and telephone conversation with nick, nick signed work orders and everything, but to him its not enforceable... we're all actually getting a lawyer together to go after him shortly. this guy is def a snake as mentioned before.. DO NOT WORK WITH/FOR HIM..

This is in response to the comment that the "obligation" was met.  I, as the employee, spoke DIRECTLY with Nick Alberino, he IS in fact with American Power & Light, as well as the other companies. and he DID in fact state he would pay me directly. I DID in fact report directly TO HIM on many, many occassions. Again, LIES, LIES, LIES. I stand by the fact that I was NEVER paid, nor was anyone else in the office! DO NOT WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! Completely unethical and unprofessional! 

Once again I would like to affirm that this commission was NOT paid to me.  I never received a single dime, even though the owners were well aware of the fact that I am a single mother of 5 young children.  Numerous attempts were made to these heartless individuals, pleading for my commission which I had earned for deals that I had closed.  I further affirm and attest that it WAS in fact American Power & Light for whom I worked.  I stand by my statements and assure you that this company is run by unethical scam artists.  BEWARE!!!! DO NOT WORK FOR THEM or DO BUSINESS with THEM, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.  I will be more than happy to put this information in a sworn affidavit if need be.  Sincerely,  TIRED

This commission was PAID. The person who is claiming this report was not employed by American Power & Light. She worked for a broker that was hired by American Power & Light. We employed the broker only! The broker WAS PAID on this deal. This report should not be directed towards American Power & Light. Our financial obligation was met with this broker.

This commission in question was paid. The person filing this complaint did not work for American Power & Light. She was employed by another broker who HAS BEEN paid by American Power & Light. This report should not be directed at American Power & Light.

The 1-800 number previously listed states that it is to Alarm Marketing Group now (instead of American Power & Light).  This is the SAME company.  Alarm Marketing Group (AMG) is another company Nick Alberino and his wife, Lynn Alberino are operating.  They are doing the same thing with that company as well (not paying employees and doing unethical business).  Here are some more phone numbers for American Power & Light and Alarm Marketing Group:
