*Consumer Comment: Scammed by American Publications X 2!
It's been a month and i still haven't recieved anything from this company. I sent them a $40.00 money order on April 17th 2009 and its was cashed April 22nd 2009. I have yet to hear from them and all they sent me was the bonus on how to do your own home business. I personally believe that this a scam and don't recommend anyone else to go to this company for anything.

Scammed by American Publications X 2!
AUTHOR: Karen from Tyler, TX - (USA)

I too am a victim of this same company. I sent a $40 money order to this company on May 20, 2009. The little booklet they sent was a bit of a surprise to me. I was expecting materials to carryout the duties explained in their ad so that I could make some supplemental income for my household. I saw no use in this booklet, so I returned it on June 1, 2009 for a complete refund as instructed by their ad also. It is now September 28, 2009 and I have yet to receive my refund. The only number I have rings and then seems to a fax machine. I have no other way to contact them.
I encountered the same problem with the American Publications based in Missouri, however when I contacted the number I had for them and left a message stating that I received the information requested but was not satisfied and returned it for a refund that I hadn't received. I got a call from Dean Murray clarifying my complaint. I reiterated my complaint and told him that he had until the end of the week to send my refund or I would be reporting them to the BBB. I received my refund a couple of days later.
Since I can't seem to contact anyone in regards to the problem with this American Publications based in Connecticut, I guess I have no other choice but to proceed with filing a complaint to the BBB.
