American Servpro Joey Proper Company Came for a service call. Told me service fee could be applied to future work. Didn't return to do work. Greenville Texas

Joey of American Servpro was hired to come diagnose the problem with my dishwasher that was displaying an error when I tried to run it.  He immediately said it was a valve problem controlling the water pressure without consulting any documentation.  I trusted his judgement and we agreed to a future date for repair.  He was going to order the part and come back on Monday.  I called on Monday to see if the part was received and to schedule the follow up. He explained that the store didn't have the part.  I called subsequent times only to reach his voicemail.  I tried texting the number and he responsed and promised that he would come back.  This went on for multiple weeks and I exhibited a lot of patience as he increasingly continued to ignore my repeated phone calls and texts to the phone number on his business card and his mobile that he provided me when he called me back.  We tried rescheduling 3 times and each time, he cancelled well after the appointment was missed due to a busy schedule.  I asked Mr. Proper to honor our agreement and prioritize my fix and we scheduled one more service call.  Again he missed it and told me to call someone else.  I asked for a refund since our agreement was that the service fee could be applied to future work and he was refusing to complete the job.  He responded with profanity and outrageous statements.  Subsequent attempts to get him to respond through other channels caused him to respond with even more outrageous comments that he was in fear for his life.  I have not threatened him in anyway.  Like others in this forum, American Servpro scammed me.  Stay away from this company!
