First of all I would like to state that I have no grievance with American Signiture.As a consumer I find that thier products are of a fine quality and at a affordable price.after 20 plus years of marrage and raising two daughters my wife and I started to redecorate our home. Our first perogative was to purchase furniture that was not second hand and furniture that we liked for the look not price.American Signiture allowed us to do just that.We had looked at furniture at our local A.S.F. store and had found a dropleaf dining room table and sideboard that we both loved which is a miracle since our taste are quite the opposite.they had sold thier floor model of the table but had located one for us in University park.We paid for the table to hold it for us and made arangements to pickup.

My wife and I were so happy about the furniture we went to pick it up instead of having it delivered.When we arrived we purchased the sideboard from them because again we were very happy and grateful that they held the table for us{12/30-06}.We were told that we could not have the floor model because it was part of the set and would look bad with a blank spot there.The table we had purchased also was a floor model but they allowed us to take that.We were told that it sometimes takes 4-6 weeks for furniture to be delivered so we waited patiently for our sideboard.On 2-3-07 we still had not heard anything so I called up the store and was told that they had sold the floor model at a discount and was not able to order another one because it was discontinued.

I was shocked because I had already paid for the sideboard and did not want my money back because it is part of a set.She had asked me who had sold it to us and I told her Rod {2-3-07 @ 3:30 pm}.The next day we had heard nothing back from Rod so my wife called {2-4-06 @ 12:30 pm}Rod had known nothing about it so my wife had to explain the whole story over again.She was told that they would try to locate a sideboard for us in Florida but could not look outside of the state we would have to do that.Once again we were told "we would be happy to refund your money" however my wife and I are not happy at all.Once again we are left with a dining room full of mismatched furniture and have not received a call back after 1 week.please help broken hearted in FLA.

Once again big business wins.American sig.finally called to tell us our sideboard was in and we need to pick it up,When we arrived there we were told that the sideboard did not have a mirror and they would take $100.00 off the price 3/17/07.they told us that was all they could do there were no other sideboards.R od Vaughn was there also and never said a word. so my wife that was so upset about this let them off the hook and signed a paper to get our money back.I'M so tired of big business taking advantage of the consumer.I have tears in my eyes just thinking about it because there is nothing I can do and it makes me so mad.Nobody from A.S.F. HAS EVEN OFFERED AN APOLIGY.I have did everything humanly possible to resolve this from calling thier corperate ofice and tried to talk to Ian at 1-614-449-4350 and leaving many messages,he does not answer his phone.He finally did call back during the day on my house phone when I had stated in my messages my work hours and left my cell number.I wonder how these people would feel if someone did this to them or there families? SICK AND TIRED IN FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!

american signature furniture university park Fla still waiting zero call backs

I am still waiting patiently for my side board.I have called and talked to management on feb 3,4,was told they would call back.called feb 10 was told that they located a side board but it is missing the mirror that a Mr Fuller will call to let us know what was going on by tuesday.NO CALL feb 17 5:00 pm my wife called and was told by Rod that the side board just came in at 4:30 pm minus mirror and he just got the message.we were also told they have a mirror -not the right one but from the same furniture company in thier clearance section-if we wanted to see it.We made plans for them to measure the side board so we could take it while we were there if it fit in our suv.feb 23 still no one has called us and I am mad and I'm declaring war.
