I am a ex-empoyee of Amierican Voyager Travel of Atlanta located at the posh 1 Buckhead Loop upstairs above the post office This is the same complex of GolfSmiths, DSW Shoe warehouse, Old Navy and many high profile businesses in Buckhead.This company hired a staff of 10 marketing telephone representatives in September 2004 and every check they issued bounced like a ping pong ball later the company made the checks good...The staff started running and regrouping in other cities and states and and soon they closed the Marketing Department in Atlanta Georgia . However they are still scamming and out smarting the Atlanta Georgia Market.
American Voyager Travel used the Georgia State Department of Labor to place Employment ads and now this state agency will not persue this company for fraud.
We were told we were all fired and could not get a seperation notice and letter of reference and the receptionist seemed botherd and agitated when people called in to get references for our new jobs. she told me that she could not state we ever worked there.Anxious for local employment we did not know they was harassing and bogarting people into memberships and ganging up on innocent people who simply thought they comming into the office ot pick up a voucher for free travel.
we were told this is a full service travel agency when they were never legitimate. Beware Atlanta Georgia and any company that is puled into the American Voyager network Beware you will be held jointly responsible for any fruad generated using your name as a marketing edge..Local Attorney needed for class action lawsuit asap

I am a ex-employee of AMERICAN VOYAGER TRAVEL located at 1 Buckhead loop in ritzy buckhead near the DSW Shoe Ware House and Golfsmiths and Old Navy near Phipps Plaza and Piedmont and Lenox Rd.
I also was wrongfully terminated and without any fore warning showed up for work and was told the entire marketing department was closed.
The receptionist who is in on the scams snarled that I was not only fired I was not entitled to a seperation notice or seperation pay
she (RENEE) announced that they would re-open in December 2004 with a new marketing department she also stated taht she could not give us a verbal reference or any confirmation that we ever worked there.
This letter is to confirm that this company is still practicing in in texas and still running scams on un suspecting people like me who needing to work. They go from state to state and hire and randomly fire at will. after thousands of leads have been generated they use employees as mules then when they aer used up they fire nd rehire through Georgia Department of Labor.
On going to the Georgia Department of Labor seeking employment I did not know that they offer unsuspecting people jobs with crooked companies and when this is reported to the GDOL they shrug their sholders and oh well..I think that a severance package should have been emplimented and want a PROBONO ATLANTA ATTORNEY TO TAKE THIS CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.
