I was a previous customer with this americas best location a long time ago. I never had any problems but I see they have new staff and management as well. But recently I moved back to the area and started college again and decided to get glasses. They had a special going on at the moment and I decided to go for it (including the free eye exam..because I was no longer a member) --after spending 300.00 I will say THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! >>> 2 months and my glasses are still not right. First time around getting my glasses ..I dealt with attitude with the receptionist for calling for the status of my glasses. Her response rudely "we will call you!." ---then hung up... Meanwhile the day comes and I didn't receive a call.... I just popped up to retrieve my glasses with the WRONG PRESCRIPTION! They told me to adapt to them for a week... (I had no choice because to add + my contacts were thrown away at this store!!!) --so I tried to adapt to these glasses but I couldn't see my own t.v in my apartment living room ...not to mention at night I was completely blinded. And in class I had to go up to the board. I was also experiencing frequent headaches and nausea. I went back a week later to explain my problem I was the. Greeted by a rude employer... Who took my glasses and put them up to her face and exclaimed they were strong. I KNOW MY VISION IS NOT GOOD I DO NOT NEED SOMEONE DOWNING  ME FOR IT!--- so they scheduled me another eye examine only to figure out after I told them a million times my prescription was wrong ... Smh I was given temporary contacts and sent on my way with knowledge of waiting 7-10 more business days. I was irritated but fine with that. This time I decided not to call because of the attitude received before ... So 22 days go by... And no call has been received. I even called the store 3 days prior to popping up and my glasses were not there. When I popped up they handed me one pair and told me that the other was not there. --I'm beyond irritated at this time because 7-10 business days plus 12 more days and everything I paid for is still not there. I asked to speak to the manager... And finally this the manager pulls me aside and he made everything worse. He was not compassionate of my situation nor was he trying to help me. No matter what I expressed he denied helping me. He then took my glasses and put them aggressively in my hand (if I did not grab they would have fell to the floor) ----during my proceed trying on my glasses I ripped my left temporary contact. I asked him if they could replace that contact .. And without even checking he claimed they didn't have any contacts for me ... I said you didn't even check ... He didn't say anything and the struggle continue . At this point I'm asking for corporate and he is denying helping me... I asked why was he refusing to help me.. And I mention my sexual orientation and he looked me up and down and grunted.. So at that moment I realized my orientation had him acting indifferent with me .... I was very upset. Vexed at this point. I asked for his name and said I was going to report this discrimination he responded "good luck with that" with a cocky attitude. He then gave me a card that was not corporate but was the store number. I went back in and demanded help. I went to the back to try to get help from maybe the examiner... Knocked on the door ... Nothing . The manager Sean came back and told me to leave and threaten to call the cops ... I said this is discrimination and not fair. I left the store and went back to my friends car Infront of the store he cockily came outside and placed the same card on the winds and smirked and went back inside .-I called corporate the following Monday only to receive a call from the district manager somewhat defending his store. --- I'm still not satisfied
