I called this company to have my house rekeyed from this company and they sent out a shady guy in a van that was 20 years old. His van did not have a company logo. I asked him to rekey all our doors and install one deadbolt and replace one doorknob. He quoted me prices and I wrote down what he quoted me sine it was a big job. This is what he quoted me; service call 19$, 5 rekeyed locks @$19 each, 1 doorknob @ $65, 2 deadbolts @ $85 and 1 deadbolt install @ $125. For a total of $455.00. He preceded to do the work and after he finished he wrote an invoice as follows $19 service call, deadbolt install $125, 2 deadbolts $89 each, 2 doorknobs $65 each, 5 rekeyed $20 each. He added a doorknob that wasn't asked for and raised the price for the dead bolts from $85 to $89 and also added additional labor $65 and taxes $41. The labor and taxes was not part of my Initial quote he gave me. I ended paying him $658.95 which is a ridiculous price. He offered to me that if i paid him cash he would take off the $41 tax. so he convinced me to go to the ATM for cash i was not able to get that much cash out of the ATM. I paid him with my debit card, I felt he was very pushy and i felt unsafe in my own home that I didn't feel comfortable arguing his price with me home alone. I called the company to complain immediately after and was told to call the manager David or LaDawn between 10-4 eastern time. Made that call today and was transferred to a message that said this mail box was full. I believe this is their practice and they avoid people after scamming them. I made a call to my bank and explained what happened to the banker she suggested I file a dispute for the total amount and cancel my debit card then send my letter to the disputes department explaining what happened and that I intend on paying the company the work that was completed and quoted by a check and send it to the company. As we both feel I was scammed.
Product_Or_Service: Grip Tight

I contacted BBB in Georgia since that is where their head quarters are. They contacted the company who of course argued the amounts and services but agreed to refund 110$. BBB closed the case since they agreed to pay the amount that I have never received! I asked the case stay open to make sure I get my money back but of course they closed it anyways. 110$ is not even close to what I feel needs to be refunded to me, it was something that ill never get back, have cheap locks on my doors and learned a very expensive lesson.

My name is Ben, and I work at our headquarters.   We did send out a check for the agreed upon refund, I'm sorry for the delay on that.
