Americas Recruiting Association ARA "Almost Got Me" Boca Raton, Florida

Wanted to Thank everyone who wrote a complaint regarding American Recruiting Association! I was contacted in the same manner as those who posted e-mail messages they received from the company. Sat patiently through the 45 minute presentation, and was really excited about the opportunities they described by being a recruiter. I felt qualified for the position, and appreciated they recognized my experience and how I could be an asset to the company. At the end of the session, to be honest I was sold! Loving the idea I could make money, doing a job I love doing and a job I knew I would find success...and according to them, receiving great wealth! When they pitched investing $317, I justified the investment and focused on the idea of making money that most "jobs," didn't offer.  I thought, "WOW!" I had the potential with this company to place one person and make $4000? That was right up my alley! I've placed thousands of people in my career for less...how about for no money, just out the kindness of my heart! Yes, the investment was worth every penny to me, and I am a entrepreneur, accustomed to the idea in investing in my dreams, or the dreams and opportunities of others! It seemed to be unfortunate,that I didn't have the money right then to pay so I could get started! I am currently a P/T student struggling to get my degree, selling holiday gift baskets, which is a business I  started to make money to keep my head above water! I shared my experience with friends and family, who thought the opportunity "Sounded," great, but was encouraged to do my research before I made what would have been a great sacrifice for me and my family (3-kids)!  I want to say Thank You! For all those who had the courage to share their experiences! For those who lost money...my heart goes out to you! Wanted to share my story to let you know...Your bad experience made a difference in my life...I will not invest!!! Because of what you wrote...it saved me and my family from being victimized...by a company that can care less what $317 means to the next person. God Bless You All!!!!
