is that you did not actually send them any money. Any company that asks for money up front to guarantee a loan is a SCAM.

By the way it is not allowed in the US. If you sent them money or were about to you will find that these people are actually in Canada. If they gave you any address in the United States it was a fake address(or one that does not belong to that company).
