I am a disabled widow of a veteran. I never got copies of my loan, never got coupon book, and now I have to walk away from my house and loan and my credit will be ruined.

I was told my loan was assumable. I needed desperately to find someone to assume my loan. I had serious health problems. in the hospital many times and 4 surgeries. I needed to move closer to town so my children could help me.

I was told later by the head of the assumption dept. at mortgage investors that my loan was not assumable. Not, just without the V.A approval, but, just not assumable at all.

So, what else could go wrong..I called the mortgage investors main customer loan telephone number and entered my loan number and then social. No loan by that number or social. I called GMAC, the one that it was supposedly transferred to. No loan by that number or social.

I don't know where my money went, or to who I was paying it to. I finally just gave up. These are crooks and I am not paying them one more penny! I will walk away.

Seems like no one wants to take on these big mortgage giants. They know it. It would take a team of lawyers and a lot of money. I have none of these things.
