There are a lot of us who work from home with Ameriplan, and make a very good living.  I am a mother raising a daugther, and love the work I do with Ameriplan.  And the income is very good.  The job is very rewarding because I have helped a lot of people save a lot of money...  Plus, I  have the flexibility to be my own boss.

I have read the rip-off reports written, and I have feel that someone who really knows the goings on needs to set the record straight.

The people who are complaining are either expecting money to just fall from the sky - this is a business and you have to work it with just as much dedication as you would if you were working for an employeer.  Or they did not understand about the business before getting involved in it.  And when they got there packet they did not read it where it states that all cancellations must be in writing to the corporate offices.  Calling and leaving messages with your enroller will not work.  We, as enrollers - do not have the authority to cancel someone's membership.  This is put in place to protect the consumer.

Ameriplan has never ripped me off, or anyone who I know personally - or anyone I have enrolled.  We are all VERY happy with the services we receive and the income we make...

One person complained about getting a ton of phone calls DAILY.  This is because when you fill out a form on a "generic leads site" they sell those leads (or give them away - depending on the company) to ANY company or ANY individual who requests leads. Leads are often giving out numerous times, so you will be called numerous times by different people!  In order to not have this happen - you must fill out a form on an actual Ameriplan site (or the site of any company you are requesting information from).  Our site lead goes to THE PERSON who has that site.  They call you...  So I can only assume that the site you filled out the request on was not an Ameriplan site.   When working with Ameriplan, we are very busy, busy, busy.  We have so many people to talk with, work with, and train.  We do not spend our time beating a dead horse.  In other words, we call someone once, maybe twice - if we don't get a reply, we simply MOVE ON.  We don't have the time nor the desire to play games of chase.  People either want to become financially free working with Ameriplan - or they don't.

When you work with Ameriplan you are owning a franchise of Ameriplan and are therefore allowed to use and market the Ameriplan name.  You are not an employee of Ameriplan.  So, as with any business that you own, you will have start up capital.  If people think that the annual start up cost of $19.95 a year is too much, then I always recommend the continue searching, and I move on...    I never call them again.  I know that if they search around and don't find anything, they will be contacting ME back.  And this happens more often than you think!!!

Now, for the ongoing fee of the packages,  There are 3 to choose from and they determine your commission level.  All 3 are very reasonably priced.  But the most AWESOME part of this is that you get all the benefits of each package!  If you were working for an employer outside the home, you would pay a monthly fee for benefits - hopefully your employer offers a benefits package.  I have never known of a company where you can work from home and get benefits too.  This has helped my family in so many ways!!!

Someone commented on their dentist being cheaper without the plan. Well, Ameriplan can't tell dentists what to charge, so some may already offer better savings (some), but on the majority - this will not be the case.  I just personally saved $120.00 at my dentist...  And I saved $75.00 at the grocery store just last week with the coupons.  So, that paid for my membership, which was what discounted my dentist.  It was a WIN, WIN.  Not only that, I am making a great living too.  I covered my intitial cost in the first week, and have been making a profit ever since.  And not only is this small package fee very easy to cover, you also get to writie it off on your taxes at the end of the year because it is a business expense, as well as any other money you invest into operating your business.  So, it really ends up costing you nothing, and you got to use the plans and reap huge savings!!!

MY PET PEEVE:  Ameriplan is an MLM.  Oh boy, I could go on and on with this one!  Every single business in America could be considered an MLM. Do you suppose your grocery store makes the product?  NO, It starts with the manufacturer of farmer, or whomever.  It then gets passed down the line until it hits your store. Every single layer (or level) makes money on that product until it hits the consumer.  Have you ever bought a new car?   That car dealership down the road from your house did not make that car.   An illegal MLM (and there are many) only make money from adding people to a downline.  They don't offer a product to the consumer.  Those I would never deal with.   When you start your business with Ameriplan, you get the commissions for ALL the business YOU add to your own books.  Now, as you progress in the company, you get a little higher commission, but you are also doing a lot more work training the new owners you have enrolled.  So to be compenstated for your extra time and work is a good thing...

I really could go on, but I'm not here to try to convince anyone about Ameriplan,  I just wanted clear up a few of the misconceptions. Ameriplan currently has over 2 million members.  So to have so few complaints is really to be expected.  You can't please all of the people all of the time, but the ones we have - are truly so thrilled about we offer, and this is why we continue working and love our business!!!

Oh, and I am not a corporate player.  I was not paid or dictated in any way to write this.  I just don't like to see the slander that is written about the company I work with by people who did not take the time to implement the business correctly.  Cause if they had, they would be right here next to me giving my rating an A++++
