AMERIQUEST ripoff; CRAZY, wrong and LIARS Orange, CA Orange, California

I've written reports here before but I am starting a new one, because: Ameriquest keeps stopping a loan that needs to be closed and finished. I didn't think a person could cry as much as I have. Everyday they ask for something else, then something else to do. More information they want.

NOW: Last night my lawyer and broker were on the phone 3 way for over an hour. I'm NOT getting charged extra because they are sick of them too.

Quite a while back I was working with ACORN.org on this problem of keeping my home. ACORN got Ameriquest to finally do as I asked, get another appraisal. Because they took all the equity out and appraised it for way to much money. This is a 40 year old home and not worth nearly $100k. ACORN got the appraisal from a REALLY honest appraiser, which I cannot mention the company here, but she was sick and tired of Ameriquest. She was very surprised that they called her again, because she wouldn't be dishonest and it ended up in parting company. I told ACORN I needed an honest appraisal this time and I wanted a partial say in the matter. I got it.
Then, Ameriquest stated to ACORN that all they wanted then was $35,000 and acted so very surprised of what the appraisal came in, stating to them "I guess we were wrong, golly gee, what happened." Silly statement, but exact words nevertheless.

The letter/e-mail ONLY stated they wanted $35k and they wanted to part company with me and vice versa. They also stated to ACORN they didn't want the house.

They told ACORN either she can refinance or sell. There was NO time limit stated at all. NONE. WHY in God's name did ACORN stop and back out of helping me? My only thought was and I was correct Ameriquest told the man at ACORN to butt out. He did. Another person at ACORN feels that someone there should have continued this until completion.

AQuest called and threaten a friend of mine on a continuous basis of at least 18 times wanting to know why I didn't sell the house in less than 2 months. What's she doing, why didn't she get rid of it, etc. She was harassed. Thank God, she is a GREAT caring family friend.
Now, they also told her she couldn't buy the house because she was my sister. I don't have a sister, but who cares who does what. That is discrimation. My lawyer is furious.

Now, they are threatening the lender. God help them if my house valued at more than what the February appraisal came in. They actually had a Sheriff's sale on Sept 7 and all of Ameriquest financed houses were ONLY bid by Ameriquest and their lawyers before anyone got there. My broker went down to buy it and told me it was the darnest thing, NO one was allowed to bid on any of these.
No realtor could have helped me, my wonderful broker is a SAINT because he's stuck with this so long.

Bottom line Folks: Ameriquest doesn't want YOU to be honest and start again, they ONLY want your home. THEY want to win. I'll NOT give up and will continue to do right.

I have the PRINTED copies of all the e-mails from ACORN stating that he talked to Mike Gibson, what the settlement was, etc. Then, they think I'm so stupid and I don't have proof. HA> HA> ACORN will provide more because they kept my file.

When this is over, I WILL SUE them as well as others jumping on the bandwagon over this. I can't understand why there are lawsuits in California but elsewhere there doesn't seem to be. I called the Attorney General's office and got NO where about anything to do with Ameriquest. They said ACORN filed a class action back in 2000 and it was settled. Was it? NO!!! Any comments and help would be appreciated.

Those crazy people that work for them? They seem so grateful, but wait until they get into trouble for signing their John Hancock on papers. Forgery is a Criminal ACT> Be careful. Don't praise them to soon.
I read a post that I resent very much. We all are NOT illerate. I'm quite well educated and anyone can fall into the trap. Where they got me? My Mother was quite ill at the time, my oldest was in the hospital with an allergic reaction to Humalog Insulin and was VERY ill. My guard was down and I needed to help her. My Mother has passed away last year and I haven't had much time yet to grieve for my Mother's passing. Because of this HORRIBLE company and a constant battle for what they did to me.

As Patrick Henry said: "I have ONLY begun to fight."
I read a passage the other day from a poem from Maya Angelou, which I've read many times before. I KNEW the meaning, but I REALLY didn't know what the TRUE meaning for ME was until the other day, I cried deeply when I read it and I will RISE.

"You may write me down in history with your bitter twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt...But, still like dirt, I RISE. I RISE."
