Amerquiest Mortgage, AMC Mortgage Now Citi Residental Lending Mislead and placed our home in Forclosure Santa Ana California

This has been going on for some time. We have had this loan for 5 years.
We have filed bankruptcy and have paid and done all the requirements. I kept my insurance and my taxes paid on my home and had to make payments of 835.00 for 6 months my original monthly payment was 448.00. We just could not do the $835.00 any longer. I contacted a CCS group for help with how to retain my home.
I was sent a letter on Homeownership Preservation and was asked to provide
the letter stating the reason for our modification request and copy of bank statements pay stubs and 2 year of W- 2 forms. My letter dated 05/08/08.
The paperwork was sent in and I received a call from the company they needed 2 things they said they did not receive the letter and one more check stub. I complied on June 16th i received a challenged letter from certain
borrowers who did not receive a leagally sufficeient Notice of Right to Cancel have up to 3 years to cancel thier motrgage transaction. We were told not to
call the court? On July 1st in our current ledger paper showing our home is to be sold at the court house steps on July 23rd 2008 and I was told this by
my son. I purchased a paper and there it was. I called and was put into voicemail. My husband called as we both work nights and he was assured our home will not be sold we were in modification. We never received anything
stating that we were in this type of danger. I am embarrassed at our financial distress anyway, and to have this happen and the small town knows everyone. We have lived in our home since 1994 and have improved upon it since that time. We have borrowed to make the home our own and are proud to have it. I have made my payments and more but now being left wondering if the person who told my husband not worry is just telling us to get us off the phone. We have a lawyer and do not know if will help to consult him again or not. I will continue to fight till this company does the right thing but no before I am forced to live elsewhere. Any thoughts from anyone?
