I am an ex-student from amfasoft fremont,  I took oracle training at amfasoft fremont 2010. After I completed with oracle training,  I verified with oracle and found out amfasoft fremont is not an authorized training site to conduct oracle training, therefore, my training credential won't be recognized by Oracle program manager who is responsible for oversight the oracle trainings.

Prior to my enrollment, amfasoft indicated other than instructor led curriculum, amfasoft shall assist student to prepare for certificate exam, provide lab access, course retake and job placement assistant within 1 year upon the completion of instructor led curriculum. I got lab access three more months more after I completed my instructor led curriculum; because I had a disagreement about course retaking consent with amfasoft, I said I shall escalate to oracle and amfasoft terminated me denying there is any common consent exists other than instructor led curriculum.  Shin Shin, FAM, regional competitors of amfasoft, provides certification exam assistance, course retaking option within 1 year. FAM helps students for job placement, Shin Shin does not help student for job placement. In addition, FAM is an oracle authorized training provider, Shin Shin is not an oracle authorized training provider, but provides instructor led curriculum recording for reviewing assistance. 

Amfasoft Instructor said he is always there to help even if I had graduated from school. When my vmware lab crashed requesting help to recover vmware from my backup files,  I do not get any response. There seems to be a pattern, amfasoft is extremely flexible prior to your enrollment. But once you enrolled and completed the instructor curriculum, All the other promises shall be void.  You are history,  At least from my own first hand experience, I got lab access three more months lab access and took a copy of  my resume upon completion of instructor led curriculum, then I had not heard from Amfasoft any longer, my case is even worse, because, I indicated I shall escalated to oracle, amfasoft terminated me. My access to amfasoft is totally denied, even an attempt to set up a meeting to discuss the prior common consent, could be interpretating as harassment to amfasoft's staff members by amfasoft's owner.

My experience is only applicable to my  training experience at fremont branch last year. I like my oracle instructor at amfasoft, If you do not care about oracle community recognition, do not care about course retake option, do not need lab access, can tolerate lab configuration problem and remote access bottlenecks, no assistance needed after completion the instructor led curriculum, I shall strongly recommend my prior amfasoft oracle instructor without any reservation.  All my concerns are communication breakdowns related to amfasoft owner. Technical speaking, my oracle instructor, is a competent instructor, knowledge resourceful individual . I simply met him at the wrong place at the wrong time.  I like him personally!  

I am disappointed that when my vmware lab crashed my instructor did not show any assistance attempt, and amfasoft denied any other common consent exists other than the instructor led curriculum. Although amfasoft reimbursed me one exam expense,  Had I knew all amfasoft offers is only the instructor led curriculum, I would have selected training from other providers, amfasoft claims to be an oracle university but my training credential won't be recognized by oracle, that is a big blow to my career pursuit.  I hope that amfasoft is not intentionally concealing the fact that her fremont branch is not an oracle authorized training site? Amfasoft denied making any consent other than instructor led curriculum.  I never got standard offer from amfasoft. I negoticated with amfasoft comparing competitor meticulously. I met each training provider to negotiated components of training modules, identified implementation method & deliverables prior to enrollment at amfasoft.  I even audited courses at each training school and talked to students face-to-face. I audit ShinShin class more than once. I talked to two of FAM's instructors early 2010 prior I selected amfasoft.

Furthermore amfasoft hired an attorney stating I made defamatory remarks about amfasoft, and removed my yelp account, Yelp support claims I had multiple Yelp accounts, that is grossly nonsense, I create Yelp account has only one purpose that is to ensure my review will be post  and can be shared with those who looks for oracle training won't make the same mistake I made. I am not affiliated with any amfasoft's competitor and I did not make any false claim. Everything I said is true even if amfasoft hired big gun to intimidate me. I made no false statement and my freedom of speech is well protected by first amendment!
