Beware of this dentist. His staff is not trained in insurance billing and therefore the patient suffers the consequence. His ad states "It is all about me", when, in my opinion, "It is all about the money". I was not informed of his not accepting assignment of my insurance when I called to discuss becoming a new patient. I was only told "Yes, we absolutely accept your insurance". Because of his untrained staff, reimbursement to me (after I had paid him in full) was delayed 30+ days.

During that time period, I had another appointment which I cancelled in a timely manner due to not receiving payment from my insurance company, which was held up due to their negligent filing. He subsequently charged me $80.00 for not keeping that appointment, which in my opinion is an act of greed on his part. And, when I refused to pay this fee, stating my case, he turned it over to collections immediately, not 60-90 days. Makes one wonder.

So beware of his practices or make sure you have really really deep pockets. Also, I had to have my teeth recleaned, his job was not that good (and my new dentist ACCEPTS ASSIGNMENT of my insurance with no problems).
