 On August 6, 2013 Jacob met with Andres Garcia of Lockhart, TX aka "Andy".  They met at job site 2106 Schulle Ave. Austin, TX.  Jacob was there to provide an estimate.  The work detail was to remove ceramic tile from the living and dining room, the bathroom and the foyer; plus dispose of all tile debris from property site.  Agreed on $1,600.0 total. 

On August 12 Monday - Jacob arrived and completed the work and payment was to be rendered on August 16, 2013 Friday.  Jacob had placed a few calls to Andy that day for payment and the calls were being ignored.  The Verizon announcement would announce that the customer was not available. Jacob went to his home and found out that he was evicted.  Since the completion date Jacob has been calling him for the past 43 days until last night. 

I went with Jacob to the job site and obtained the name and number of the general contractor "Emerald Sunrooms and Remodeling" 512-452-4121 - I placed a call to Craig Cummings and Stacy Cummings both at 512-845-0880, 845-0882.  After my attempt to reach both; I finally was able to speak to Craig at 8:45 p.m. and updated him on what was going on with payment owed to Jacob and about Andres Garcia deceptive and unethical practices in the construction business.  Craig was caught off guard and provided his email to me: esr0128@msn.com and asked to send him an email.  

That email was sent and returned with an email stating that Jacob would have to deal directly with Andres; which those attempts for the past 43 days were worthless.  Craig also stated in his email: [quote " Jacob do not contact me again about this issue.  This is an issue between you and Andy that needs to be resolved as such. I am contacting the owners today to explain the issue, so if you decide to contact them they will know upfront what the underlying issue is.  I have forwarded your message to Andy so he is aware of it." On behalf of Jacob, I called the owner of the home site at 11:00 A.M. and he still was not aware of the UNDERLYING ISSUE - he did state to me very cordially and concerned to speak to Craig Cummings because Craig was paid upfront to complete this job.  He also ended the conversation that he would call me as soon as he was done with his clinics.   I then proceeded to reply to Craig Cummings; made him aware that I did call the owners and that he needed to address this issue by 3:00 P.M. today with full payment. 

BEAWARE all of you Builders, General Contractors and Sub-Contractors - Andy Garcia of Lockhart, TX should not be trusted.  Jacob has been thru this before with Andy but he eventually was paid.  This is the 2nd job Andy has offered to Jacob; and with reluctancy Jacob provided the estimate and completed it. A contract was executed and PAYMENT still has NOT been RENDERED.   Shame on you Andy Garcia  EMAIL: BigAndyGarcia@gmail.com   512-626-7611.
