I was very pleased with the level of professionalism that occured during the recent purchase of my bird. Maria Dawe provided a clearly written contract of purchase as well as detailed information as to the expectations of acquisition and care to be provided after purchase. I truly believe that anyone who took seriously their responsibilities in becoming an owner of a bird that had lovingly been hand fed and raised by Maria would not have any trouble maintaining continued good health of their new family member.

Maria has been a source of knowledge and support well after the purchase of my bird. It seems no matter the time of day my inquiry is made, she is always willing to advise  and help. This says to me that her level of commitment to the birds she has raised extends far beyond being a business woman who is interested in advancing her business to being a caring individual who is serious about the work she does. 

I highly recommend Maria to anyone who is interested in purchasing a bird. I know the sweet disposition of my "baby boy" is attributed to the care and love he was given. I have since met another person who purchased a bird from Maria and has been equally satisfied with the good nature of her bird. 

I would be suspicious of the motives of anyone making a bad report regarding Maria's level of professionalism or her committment to raising healthy, happy, good natured birds merely due to the positive experience I have had.

I am partners with Maria Dawe. I am currently located in St. Louis, MO and I am in the process of moving to NY to be by Maria. Our Business is ran out of Buffalo, NY (Wheatfield, NY). Most all of my babies go to Maria for her care because I take care of so many breeder birds here in St. Louis (500+). In order to give the proper care our babies need, its best that they go to her and her family. I currently house over 500+ breeder birds at my facility. Our aviary has been ran by my family for over 30 years and our breeding stock has been with us, and we currently house both 1st, 2nd, & 3rd generation breeder pairs that have all came from our stock here at the facility. We are also working on building 4th generation breeder pairs from our stock, for future breeders.

A day at our facility consists by gathering food and water bowls from the night before, emptying them, and putting them in the dish washer, and then washed by hand afterwards for a further cleaning. We cook breakfast each morning for our birds, which may be Scrambled Eggs with chopped vegetables or fruits, oatmeal, & softened zupreem pellets. Or birdie pancakes that is made with fresh vegetables or fruits, crushed nuts, & softened zupreeem pellets. Once finished we dish our breakfast bowls for all of our birds and they are then fed. Most of our Macaws are all colony fed in our macaw flight, as they would in the wild. Once we serve breakfast to our birds, we then start on preparing food and water bowls. Our birds get offered a premium seed mix that we prepare at our home. Zupreem Fruit Blend Pellets are mixed is also blended into our seed mix. Our seed blends are made for specific species, like our Macaws and Amazons receive a higher fat diet than our cockatoos do. Etc. We then serve the food and water bowls, and we collect all the breakfast food bowls, clean them out, put them in the wash machine and then wash them by hand for further cleaning. We then clean cages, scrub trays, sweep and then mop our whole facility. While we clean, one of us is washing and preparing all of the fruits and vegetables for our birds. We offer our birds 2 Vegetables and 2 Fruits each day.

We buy our produce fresh each week, and we buy different fruits and vegetables each week to offer our birds a variety. We prep all of the fresh food bowls and then serve them. We are generally always cleaning and feeding babies in between our schedule. Once all of the birds are taken care of, we go out side to take care of our out door foul (peacocks) and do yard work. Around 4pm, we go retrieve all of the fresh food bowls, clean them out and them put them in dish washer, and the wash them by hand for further cleaning. We start making dinner for our birds which will normally consist of a fresh stir-fry like mixture with fresh vegetables with steamed rice and potatoes. We dish the dinner bowls and serve them. As they eat, we normally clean a little, and then we start cleaning out all of their food and water bowls. They all get fresh food and water twice daily! Once they are all severed their feed and water bowls, we retrieve the dinner bowls. Clean them out and put them in the dishwasher and then wash them by hand for further cleaning. Once finished with that, we clean cages, scrub trays, and then sweep and mop the entire aviary.. By this time, it is night time and our birds are all preparing to go to bed. - Because of the quality care we give our birds, we produce out standing babies at our facility.

All of our babies come with DNA Paperwork, Hatch Certificate, and an extensive Health Guarantee. If there was a problem with the birds we have sold you, you know you can follow the health guarantee contract we provide each and every customer. Each customer signs a Deposit Contract and Sales Contract that has the health guarantee on it. Again., That both us and the customer signs and dates. Your more than welcome to follow the health guarantee, and if it was of our problem and we will work with you on refund or reimbursement of some type.
