Andria Lambert - Sam Lambert selling sick fox red labradors & rat terriers from filthy kennel & offering false guarantee Ripoff Albemarle North Carolina

I purchased a fox red lab from Sam Lambert after speaking with his wife Andria by phone. When time to pick up the puppy I was told that they would be in Statesville which is about half way between their house and mine that day so they would be glad to bring it to me! Little did I know at the time I was dealing with the owners of a very large puppy mill. I was told they had a quarantee. I could get a refund within 72 hours if the vet found anything wrong. Well my vet didn't find much right about the pup! It had severe worms and coccidia which was very common my vet said in pups raised in such a filthy enviornment. I commented when I met them in Statesville that the pup's stomach seemed exceptionally bloated but they assured me that she had just eaten. Also she was so shy that she almost cried every time I picked her up like she had either not been touched very often as a very young pup or else was abused!

I called Andria that day and she of course made all kinds of excuses. I told them I wanted to bring her back for a refund but they said I could only have another pup. I agreed although I knew I would not want one after learning what the vet described as a puppy mill product! I got their address and told them I would be by the next day. When I arrived Andria said they didn't have another female but a male instead. He was convienently in the house which was very dirty and smelled awlful! I told her I wanted to see his father Big Red. When walking outside I was appalled at the number of dogs. Not just labs but poodles, rat terriers, golden retrievers, etc. The smell was as bad as the noise! What I saw made my stomach turn and my heart ache!! Big Red did not look at all like the male they have pictured on their web site. I don't know where they got the photos they have on their web site labs-rats.com but the conditions of their animals were not as they seem. When I asked to see the mom she was not there but at a sister in laws house they said. How convienent!! After seeing this place I couldn't leave my little girl even though she was not well. If I had left her with them she would probally not have survived. I decided to take her and leave as quickly as I could and thought that would be the end of it. I gave her all the meds the vet gave us and cured all the visible illnesses but then came all the other problems. She developed entropia of the eyes and had to have surgery on both lids. The vet said it is hereditary. Now she has developed hip dysplasia and needs surgery on both hips. Also hereditary. I have contacted Andria about the warranty she offers and she continues to lie and postpone the refund which her website states she offers.

I have been patient and more than willing to do whatever it takes to at least get the $600 back I paid for her. It would help with the costs of trying to raise a puppy brought into this world by these 2 money hungry beasts calling themselves a kennel. I have done alot of research on their operation since my introduction to their puppy mill in Albemarle. I visited their neighbors and asked lots of questions. Some of them told tales of police visits, domestic violence disturbences, and even child welfare. These are the kinds of people that run puppy mills. I want to warn other hard working people who want to add a puppy to their family to always visit the kennel before buying. Ask for some references of others who have purchased from them. I was nieve to think that I would never buy a puppy from a puppy mill but that is what I did when I bought one from Sam and Andria Lambert.
