Angel Stevens Process At Home Hassle and question about refund request and providing misleading information Los Angeles California

After reading a report on this company that described the exact circumstances that I am having with this company I simply had to submit my own report. If you are contemplating signing up with Angel Steven's Process at Home, there are a couple of things that you should know first. #1. The only give you about 5 percent of the information needed. I received an email that went into my junk mail (where it should have stayed) and the email was appealing so I opened it up. I read the email and went to the website listed on it for more information.

Most of the information presented on the web page is fluff designed to appeal to your emotions and desire to become financial independant. There are a lot of testimonies and of course the so called "Angel Stevens" testimony of how she started the business. So I looked for the "meat and potatoes" of the business and tryed to figure out "what do I have to do". Well here is the exact information that the website provided:

***"And even though it's simple and easy (I will show you the three easy steps to rebate affiliate marketing shortly) and can be done from home the money is great!

Let me put it this way: if someone were to tell you that:

You could implement my program and then do nothing more than process rebates on behalf of people making purchases of your affiliate companys products;

That one rebate takes about 4 minutes to process; and

The average amount you make per rebate processed is $15.

Well, if you process 1 rebate every 4 minutes, and you do that for 60 minutes, that amounts to 15 rebates in 60 minutes.

Let's do the math: 15 rebates for $15 each equals $225. That's $225 for 60 minutes of work! If you do this five days a week, you can make $1,125 a week $4,500 a month and $58,500 a year! The website even shows an example of how to process a rebate. I just knew that I could do that all day. Even if it was $5 a rebate I would have done it for a job that easy. As I read on I find that there is a 90 day money back guarantee that reads like this:

After you sign up, take up to 3 months to try out the program. If you aren't making money and aren't satisfied, ask for a full refund anytime within 3 months. With this in place I felt confident that if things did not turn out the way the website was telling me, atleast I could get my $197 back. Well, I enrolled. I began my training module. The first piece of training material I opened up from module 1 was titled, "How To Make A Fortune Processing Rebates Online". Here is the summary of all that was taught in this 55 page document:

***"So let's get started. Just follow these steps below and start making money today.
Step 1. Register at PayDotCom
Step 2. Look through the PayDotCom Market Place and find Products you want to promote/write ads for and get the affiliate links for those products
Now that you possess your link, you need to get your link out there on the internet. There are a number of free ways to place your ads and a couple of pay methods if you have a few bucks to spare.
Free Methods
Step 3. Post Free Classified Ads
Step 4. Create a Blog
Paid Methods (You can skip these if needed)
Step 5. Have different companies send out Opt In emails to their subscribers with your link back to this site.

Step 7. Signup at Yahoo."***

Well I followed those steps and did not make money that day. The truth is I did this program before, the only difference was it was titled "TypeAtHome". For months I wrote ads and posted them on several websites with no results. With the millions of people that are online the the number of businesses who have invested millions to dominate the web, someone like me is a small minnow in a vast ocean. It is difficult to believe that unless I have the resources to invest in promotion space on google or yahoo, that someone will go to the free classified site looking for the product that I am advertising for the period of time the ad is posted. If that were to occur, the chances are still slim that they would pick my ad over the 20 other people who are advertising the same product as a result to their attempts to strike it rich with this program. Note that not once in this training material does it teach about processing the rebates as shown in the main website.

#2. After spending a day training and applying the steps taught (with no immediate results as promised) I decided that I would request a refund of my money as promised. I sent two emails and received the following responses:

I do not have a problem with the training or the steps involved. I am not pleased with the type of money making program it is. I was under the impression that I would get paid for each rebate that I processed, period. I did not sign up with the knowledge that I would have to advertise for numerous products while promising a rebate (if I choose). Once that product sold as a result of my ad, then the rebate process begins. I thought that I would simply have to process rebates for different companies after seeing the example and reading the steps. I apologize for the misunderstanding on my part. I have done this very same thing before with a company by the name Type-At-Home. I have done that in excess of three months and I have only made a few cents. I am looking for something different. This is just not for me. Barbara I appreciate your assistance in this matter.

I know that this has not been a great deal of time, however I was promised that if I wanted my money back within three months that it would be done with no questions ask and no hassle. I do not want to be written off and persuaded to continue something that I am not satisfied with. There are other oppotunities I could invest my money in. If the company cannot give the customer their money back they should not promise to do so.

So if you are still contemplating whether or not to join with this company I will not stell you not to or that it is a bad idea. Just keep in mind that there is much more to it than what they tell you on the first page and if you are not satisfied you may have a difficult time getting your refund.
