Angelo Amadio Car sale gone wrong. Where is my $800 deposit you took? Harrison Twp Michigan

Finally justice my be heard on this because I learned a lesson from my dealing with the unscrupulous, unethical, sad excuse for a human being that is Mr. Angelo Amadio.

In 2000, I was 18 years old and fresh out of highschool...fairly new to the world I guess you could say. I was looking for my first respectable car as any soon-to-be college student needs. Unfortunately for myself the car that caught my attention was a yellow VW corrado in the ownership of one Angelo Amadio, a name I would never forget. I, being from the Detroit area decided to take a look at the car, and drove down to Columbus, OH (a longer distance than I had thought.) I specifically remember sitting down at some trendy restaurant with Angelo and his friend for a small snack after looking at his karman ghia he had stored in a garage remotely located from his apartment.

That night I placed a $800 deposit on the car (the lesson I would soon learn) and made plans to bring the rest of the money back in full within the next week. Before driving down to Columbus I called to plan the transaction, a fairly simple evolution I would figure, but he was quite evasive and after a week of trying to reach him I had a breakthrough, he finally returned a call. I was told that the engine was damaged and the car could not be sold. I asked about my deposit and he said it would be mailed. It was never received and further calls were not answered. I was infuriated and normally would have made a rash decision, but with Columbus being such a distance away, I let it go. Lesson learned.

It is entirely not surprising that others have had problems in their business dealing with this unethical person. Another thing that is not surprising is that he is was a law student and over litigious since I noticed another complaint about how he is going to start a suit to take down complaints, how very "Church of Scientology" of you Mr. Amadio...trying to silence opposition and the truth.

It is good to know that we have the internet now and it is hard to silence the people you have crossed and ripped off in the past. Thanks for the lesson I learned, it was valuable but shouldn't have been $800 valuable. After all of these years there is one picture that brings a smile to my face when I think of you. No, I have never worked for or with this man, no I am not trying to extort bribe or coerce him into anything, simply setting the record straight.
