Angie's List Angie Hicks Angie's list uses non licensed, bonded, and insured companies!!! Seattle Washington

I recently had a very bad experience with a contractor that was listed on Angie's List. I called customer service to report the contractor and that he didn't have a license, insurance or Bond. The customers service reps response to me was; "that company doesn't have a good rating on Angie's List so you should have hired somebody else". This is ridiculious, what is the point of having an Agie's list account if we can't trust that contractors are being screened! Now I am out $10,000 for using a company listed on Angie's List! It is evident that Angie's list doesn't even come close to pre screening contractors, they take whatever schmuck says they have a business apparently. I am so happy that Angie Hicks "takes pride in helping consumers get the real scoop on local service companies"..........MAKES ME SICK!!
