I am very disappointed with the amount of money that this school has cost and the way I have been treated from the staff. The staff is very condescending and defensive and puts blame on the student instead of working with the student to come to an agreement or help that student graduate. Most of these other reviews I can relate to and can say that almost the exact has happened to me.

I was fine with the coursework and the staff until I got to the final stages and the externship part of the program. During the coursework, If something comes up and you need to move your test date, they are very hard to get in touch with and need specific dates on when you think you will finish and why. Hard to come up with dates in emergencies or when something unforseen happens. Then once it is past due, because they haven't communicated back with you about the dates, they harrass you until it is turned in. They have said that their policy to get back to students is two business days, and I have had two weeks go by before I have heard something from my mentor and even have called the school asking if she was still working there.

I then emailed back saying how I won't allow for this treatment and that I did not pay for this type of service. I then was informed that I can contact their supervisor and nothing else was said about the matter.

I then proceeded to get to the mentorship part of the program only to be sent to a place that I would not even take my own dog. I simply explained the unprofessionalism from that shop and why I did not feel comfortable learning from them only to receive a defensive, condescending and chastizing e-mail saying how I could fail if I don't do this. When this happens, the actual person you are talking to doesn't try to resolve the issue, but only tells you the name of their supervisor and expects to move on like nothing happened.

I have received these defensive, condescending and chastizing e-mails from both my externship coordinator and my mentor due the issues stated above. The course work from the books is amazing, but that is where it stops and certainly not worth the money. I would rather have put the money towards their customer service skills or in a field where I can learn from hands on, I could've saved my money. In this economy, they can not afford to reprimand someone because they are a student and something isn't getting done the way they want. After that happens, you then are reprimanded because you are violating the contract you signed in the beginning. They already have your money and do not care about whether you feel uncomfortable going somewhere for your externship or the lack of communication before a test, it just needs to get done.

I will be contacting the BBB and the president of the company due to these unfortunate circumstances, mostly about how these situations were handled and the e-mails I have received from the staff, not the problems that have come up. I understand that problems come up between the school or the student, it happens. But the way it is dealt with is what makes or breaks the school. If the staff had handled the situations better, or were just better in general, I'm sure this would have a different outcome. I am very disappointed that I spent this type of money to only have been treated this way. I have gone and graduated from three colleges and never have been treated the way I was from ABC.

In the end, they are just a business that wants your money and don't really care how they get it, proven through condenscending and chastizing e-mails instead of customer service for paying students. Too bad ABC, too bad.
