What a rip off!!! These vets are supposed to help pet owners instead all they do is take advantage of people while their dogs or cats are in pain. We were billed $1500 to stitched up our dog after being attack by a pit-bull. Two days after the first procedure we had to go back because some of the stitches came loose and were billed again but this time $ 483.25. Those stitches came off too but the third time we called first to find out if it was necessary for us to go over and of course they said yes. My husband and I tired of paying so much decided to wait until next business day and took our dog to his regular Vet. Who gave us a fair assessment. He said if he did the stitches again it will happen all over, our dog's ear can be left as it is. After all he is just a dog that won't mind how pretty he looks and we will love him regardless. He said that with anesthesia, leave him over night and stitch up torn parts so it will heal separately instead of putting the ear together will only cost us approximately $50.00 maybe a little more but not by much. Unavailable!!! The accident happened over the weekend a week ago, so we didn't know better, the other Vets told us all kinds of horrible things that could happen. We were terrified and of course agreed on paying the ridiculous amount they told us. Here we are a week after back to square one and only paying $50 and some.
