Animal Hospital of Havre de Grace Spay Gone Wrong Havre de Grace, Maryland

I adopted a dog a week ago, she had been spayed less than a month prior at Animal Hospital of Havre de Grace. Shortly after adopting her we started having issues where she began acting like she was going into heat. She bled (this was not urine mixed with blood, it was a bloody discharge), urinated a lot more frequently (had accidents while she was sleeping), and has started acting aggressively towards other animals during this time period which she wasn't doing at first. I contacted the previous owner who was furious and warned me that the vet was a complete jerk who tried to run up their bill on numerous occasions.

I contacted this vet since the previous owner had taken her here to be spayed to see how she could possibly be in heat after she was spayed. All I got out of them was that the surgery was done by someone in training, who is no longer there.(Emily Barbieri) (then made sure they added in "oh but she was very good though..") Had me wondering why she was no longer there. When I was on the phone with them at first they said at first they could have made a mistake and left parts in that were supposed to come out.

I took her all the way up to the vet where she was spayed which is an hour away from where I live. They proceeded to try to charge me office fees, and for numerous tests for things that I know are not the cause of the bleeding. I told them I was not going to be paying for their mistakes and that I should not be charged for an office visit since I would've never come to their vet if they hadn't messed up when spaying her.

The vet came into the office took her weight felt her stomach and tried to tell us that "oh it's okay we may have left something in there, but she can't get pregnant!!" This is definitely an issue for me. To my knowledge dogs who are spayed are not supposed to go into heat and I feel that the aggressive behavior and the bleeding will cause us some issues. They are refusing to fix what I consider a mistake and blew it off like it wasn't important.

It was a complete waste of driving two hours to have the vet in the office for a total of 5 minutes, feel her up, and then say they weren't going to do anything. On top of it the vet, Bradley Price, was completely rude to me and would not let me get a word in edgewise. He talked to me like I was a complete idiot, and wouldn't let me ask any questions. What he didn't know is although I am young, I am currently in college studying to work in his very field, and could see right through his lies and excuses. I don't live in this area but if you do please do not waste your time with this vet! 
I will be taking my dog to another vet to have another spay performed and will be contacting Havre de Grace with the cost of the procedure to fix their mistake.
