Anna Prater LLC Still Haven't Been Paid for Work Completed in 2015 Pickens South Carolina

I worked for Ms. Prater for two years, from early 2014 to early 2016. When I started, I was told that I would be paid every two weeks, but I was NEVER paid on time or for the full amount due. It took at least a month for me to receive my first payment and later I would go several months without being paid. I only kept working for her because it was a quick, easy job that didn't cost me any money, I was already at the courthouse on a regular basis for other work and she did pay me EVENTUALLY.

However, when I gave a month's notice in January, she owed me $260, all from work completed in 2015. We discussed the amount owed on 12/1/15. By the time I stopped working for her in mid-February, she owed me an additional $40, for a total of $300. Since then, I have e-mailed her repeatedly reminding her about the money she owes me, even offering to accept payment in installment form if she is not able to pay all at once, and she has completely ignored me (see the attached images). I guess I'll have to take it to small claims court!

So disappointed that she has done this to other employees and that she would do this to me after two years of work and a good, friendly working relationship. I assumed her payroll was just a mess, but it seems she just wants to make it as difficult as possible for the independent contractors she relies on to get paid.
