On May 15th 2015, I saw a 2001 Honda Valkyrie motorcycle for sale on Oodles.com. It was low mileage, $5400.00, deceased dad's motorcycle. The ad originated from Nashville, Tenn. I responded and received an email from "Maria Stenzel". She explained that she was overseas with National Geographic, the bike was in Everett Washington, crated and ready to go. I was directed to register with Antanas Transport and let them handle the transaction. Very slick website which looks totally legitimate.
I had several questions which went unanswered and "she" wouldnt call me. The scammer would respond by asking why i had not registered at this transport company, adding pressure to the sale.
I chose to skip the transaction which saved me 5400.00. That money would have been gone without a trace.
