Anthony Calvin Marsh Complete rip off, took advantage of kindness Knoxville Tennessee

Mr. Marsh was contracted to remove a tree, haul debris to backyard burn pile and trim limbs from adjacent tree. He played on my kindhearted nature, using his hungry children as a ploy to gain advanced funds for fuel and materials to perform contracted work. Mr. Marsh was provided a personal check for $120 to secure the needed items. He was to return and complete the contracted work that day. He did not return that day. I contacted the Knox County Sherriff's office and was advised to stop payment on the check. I stopped payment as directed. An Internet search revealed Mr. Marsh arrest 07/2012. Mr. Marsh returned the following day seeking additional funds. He did not have his tools and equipment with him, nor did he have staff to assist him. I informed Mr. Marsh I stopped payment on the check since he did not return and fulfill the obligations of his signed and dated contract. In addition, I informed Mr. Marsh that I had contacted the Knox County Sherrifs office and I was aware of his past arrest. I demanded Mr. Marsh vacate my property and if he returns I would request his arrest for trespassing. I alerted him to our neighborhood watch and made him aware he was being watched by neighbors as we spoke. Fortunately I required Mr. Marsh to furnish his driver's license during the contract negoiations and recorded his license plate, mke and model of vehicle he was driving. This still didn't stop him from trying to take advantage of me. Having stopped payment on the check I was able to limit my loss to the stop payment fee. 

All said and done, Mr. Marsh had the guall to try and sell a trailer he was towing. From my observations and interactions with Mr. Marsh, I would advise others to be aware of his past digressions and use caution in any business or personal interaction.

I've since learned that Mr. Marsh was arrested again August 2016 via an Internet search. Be Aware.
