The officers from the Kitty Hawk and Southern Shores Police Departments served a search warrant on the residence at 88 S. Dogwood Trail Southern Shores this past Wednesday afternoon.
At the scene officers arrested Anthony Cundiff with felony warrants for passing counterfeit checks in excess of $18,000 at one of the areas local banks. Cundiff is the current owner of Beach Bum I.T., a computer service and web hosting company. Cundiff has been arrested in the past in other states for running internet service providers and using his customer's financial information to purchase items fraudulently and to drain their bank accounts.
Just recently Cundiff was arrested in Currituck and charged with two counts of felony worthless check. Cundiff is currently being held in the Dare County Detention Center under a $500,000 bond and is on probation with the state for other similar convictions. Detective Brian Strickland of the Kitty Hawk Police Department is one of the investigators on this case and said that more charges will be forthcoming against Mr. Cundiff.

I am glad he is in jail. He is a sick individual, and he does not deserve to be free any more. Either jail or hospital should be his residence. He tried to scam me on a job interview, by making copy of my D licence and Social Security Card, and making me sign some documents. However I read his intentions and had done what I was supposed to do. He is a coward, and fat man with no B....
