Tony Laruffa tried to sell me a home he didn't own.
He produced a forged document to show the loan of this home was transferred from Chase bank to his "private lender."
He never could produce a copy of the deed from the "private lender" over a very long and arduous escrow.
Finally two days before the deal was to close, Chase foreclosed on the property. They still had the deed and the loan on their books.
I called the private lender many times and they never picked up. They were called "Secured Assets."
I looked them up on the small business gov't website and they don't exist either.
Tony was going to use this fake lender as a front to get my down payment and run.
I am out inspection fees, HOA doc fees, appraisal fees and a whole lot of time.
Do not do business with this man. He is a criminal.
