This company will bill you for an entire year of service ahead of the year you are in. Also, promotes charges as one time and not a monthly charge. Billing credit cards after cancelling subscriptions. Overseas customer service.. never US. Poor english, poor customer service. Upgrading with out permission. I am paying for services I am not getting. They wont remove the cost. I also paid an entire year upfront and after 3 calls... no answer.. This company sucks. the customer service sucks. They cant even understand you! I found everywhere on sites that they suck and are a terriorist organization.

If I was an aplus.net employee ( I do not work for aplus.net ), I'd be confused as well. First, you can't have storage on the site for files unless you have hosting. You are very limited in what you can store with domain extras. If you want to store files for a domain name, there are companies that cater to web storage.

Seems like he was patient with you. That fact that you mentioned ripoffreport and badbusinessbureau probably made the conversation worse. While I value and contribute to the ripoffreport, there is a time and place for everything.

What he should have done was refer you again to the appropriate customer service providers or even send a message to support. In your defense, he failed to provide service to a customer who may never use Aplus again. He should have closed with a polite response and waited for you to leave.

In your defense, 5 pages of domain names and an active account, no wonder he did'nt want you to leave. If I understand correctly, he should have placed a request ( If that is possible ), for all but two of your domains to be left ( without store space...aka..hosting ) in your account.

In my experience as a customer, they have honored my request to cancel in the past. I currently have webhosting with aplus. However, I am experimenting with another hosting provider for service and reliability. I give Aplus good marks, but their control panel is a pain to use
and I would like to centralize my hosting across various sites with relative efficiency.
