APN purported to be a renewal for the Economist Magazine. Later, Economist says they are not. Lost $394. unknown, Texas

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Received a "renewal" notice from the "Economist" magazine.  It appeared to be legitimate.  Sent in

check for $394 for three years made to APN as instructed.  Now Economist says it is not them.  I had not heard of this scam before, obviously.
