Appliance Warehouse Of Auburn Maine Do Not Shop Here!! Auburn Maine

I bought a refrigerator in July for almost $900. In barely two months the fan motor had died. The repair service they use is Asap Appliance Service in Auburn. The repairman said he would order the part when he came to look at the fridge on Sept. 11. Monday the 15th, I called Asap Appliance who told me they reserved a spot for me to have it repaired on the 16th, but the part had not arrived due to the fact that it was not sent by express mail.

Today, Sept. 17th I called Asap who told me the part had arrived yesterday, but there was no way they could have someone out today to fix my fridge. Why didn't they reserve a spot for me like they did previously when they thought the part was coming in on the 15th? Tuesday, Sept. 16th I went to Appliance Warehouse and asked that my refrigerator be replaced or they credit my charge card so I could get a refrigerator elsewhere. I was told that they are not authorized to do that and I would have to call GE.

So if I wanted to return the fridge, I couldn't? Apparently. 2 month old fridge. Almost $900 and I've lost approximately $200 in food because of the worst customer service I have ever received in my 40 years on this planet!!! The owners daughter I spoke with was very rude and did not care when I told her I would tell everyone I know not to shop there. Don't they know it's easier to satisfy and existing customer than to acquire a new one? That's Customer Service 101! I thought I was doing the right thing by shopping at local independent dealers instead of Home Depot or Lowe's. And this is the thanks I get.
