I thought I was applying for a job position for a overnight freight job at Home Depot in Northern California.  I live in southern California so when I got the text and returned the call about the job the computerized person set up my interview with Home Depot, I then returned to Northern California and went to the interview and found out that the person had never heard of me and knew nothing about the application or interview he was supposed to have with me.  He said he would look for my information but never found it and hired other people instead of me, whoever this person is needs to be put behind bars and never allowed computer access alone ever again.

That was really dirty and you have Alec Defrawi of Orlando, FL to Blame. He also sabotaged my job search. I wasted nearly a year completing Applicant Tree forms.

Alec Defrawi runs The Career Network which is affiliated with Applicant Tree and Gigats, another application form similar to Applicant Tree. Beware of any so-called job search website displaying The Career Network on its site.

The Career Network and affiliated sites are not interested in helping job-seekers find jobs, as you've discovered. Difrawi is an online recruiter for higher education and a career criminal. He's also the owner of Softrockcareers.com, Three Stars Media, JobNab.com, Monkeyjar.com, Super Model Project and numerous other companies and websites.

WFTV investigated Difrawi in July 2009:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y03Vys-8MRA
