I have slowly come to the conclusion that if people are stupid enough to send money to these laughable scam artists, they deserve to lose it.

Because you sent it to a con artist.  There is no such thing as a "psychic, love guru, voodoo doctor, spellcaster" etc etc.  Stop wasting your money on these losers and just live your life.
